History:
Paxton Hills was founded in the late 1800's by a man named Richard Paxton. It started out being a low-key town, and no one ever came to visit unless they had to fill up their gas tanks. Most people that lived in this town were farmers, and were deeply into the Agricultural Era. Paxton was named for the rolling hills of lush grass and dandelions blowing in the wind. Everyone was friendly and cared about everyone; that is until Vance Greyson arrived.
Vance was a very rich man and had spotted Paxton while coming through one day to find help for a flat tire. Everyone was glad to help, but little did they know that Vance was scamming them. Vance found a way to sue the town of Paxton Hills and won over half the land. The government said that the people already in Paxton could stay, and that’s just what they did. Now, the near poor and the filthy rich were working beside each other in the same town. They each built their separate schools and kept their children away from the ‘other side’. If you lived on the East Side you went to Paxton University, and if you lived on the West Side you went to Trenton University. The government required them to be equal schools, so they were both extremely nice to begin with.
The quality eventually changed when Vance paid off the government to stay out of things. Vance made his own rules and stopped giving money to Trenton. This caused Trenton to barrel downhill. Ever since people have been trying to get it back and running again, but they’ve struggled greatly. Newcomers aren’t sure where to fit in, so they stay neutral, but what everyone really wants is for people to get along again. You know, have it be the old Paxton Hills they remembered it as.
Plot:
Ever since Vance basically took over Paxton Hills the town has been a mess. Fights often break out between guys, and two people have been killed, one from each side. This includes Michael Montgomery, and Antonio Holden. Yet, they weren’t killed by the other side of town, they were killed by the Mob. Antonio was from the East side of town, and Michael from the West. Antonio was trying to get money to pay his son’s kidnapper’s ransom, and Michael was trying to get money to get Trenton out of the rut. The owner of Trenton was threatening to close the school down, and Michael took an extra step. Trenton used the money and is still going strong, and the son’s ransom was paid and the kid was released. Little did Michael know, he had a daughter. After an affair with another Trenton student, the baby the born a year later. Michael never knew about this, but the baby girl carried on his characteristics.
Eventually the Mob came after the two, who had gotten together despite their differences. One after another the descendants were slaughtered, but another baby carried on and they’ve reached this generation. The Mob is still after the money, and it has piled up with interest ever since. There are two students at the school with the exact characteristics of Michael Montgomery and Antonio Holden. Their last names have changed, but they look exactly the same. These two have to deal with the fear of those close to them being hurt as well as themselves. The more time they take getting the money back to the Mob the more of a threat there is on the school. More killings will take place, and more people will be hurt. The schools are at potential threat of closing down. One Vance Greyson descendant has come into the picture, but is completely unsure and neutral. Will the sides finally come together to help protect the schools and students? Or will everyone be forced to fend for them self? To put it simply, you can’t trust anyone, and you definitely can’t get mixed up in the other side.
