Laurent High School values the diversity that enriches our world through customs, traditions and perspectives of people of different cultures, religions, gender, and socioeconomic groups. The Diversity Club is an informal forum through which students celebrate these values by sharing stories, facts, family traditions, traditional dress, food, and ethnic music and dance. The Diversity Club aims to promote a safe environment for students by making them aware of the diversity of the school population. Different cultures, life styles, and beliefs will be researched by the members and then promoted throughout the building to spread awareness.
