| Laney had just finished texting with on of her friends from her old school. She was going to meet her at Starbucks to catch up on things, since they hadn`t seen each other in a while. She slid her pink Razor into the back pocket of her American Eagle jeans and grapped the keys to her Mustang and headed down the stairs toward the living room. "Hey mom, I`m going to meet Heather up at Starbucks. I`ll be home in about an hour or two. Is that okay?" She flashed a smile toward her mom. "Okay. But you better be back before dinner." Her mom said flashing a smile back at Laney. "Okay. I promise." She said and headed out the door. She got into her car and cranked up the music really loud and backed out of the driveway. She was listening to Paula DeAnda`s "Walk Away." when she pulled up into the Starbucks. She didn`t see Heather`s car anywhere in the parking lot. So she just went inside and order herself a Cappacino and sat down in one of the really comfortable chairs that was near a window. When she finally saw Heather pull up she was so excited. She hadn`t seen Heather in at least a year! When she came in Laney ran up to her and gave her a big hug. "Oh My Gosh! We have SO much to catch up on!!" Laney went and sat back down in the chair she has been sitting in before while Heather ordered herself a drink. Heather came and sat in the chair across from Laney. "Laney, you know that guy Brad that i liked when you still went to Northridge with us? Heather said, taking a sip of her drink. 'Yeah, what about him?" Laney said, listening intently.
