Kaleb sat under a tree in thought,his pen tapping his chin as he listened to his ipod,"hmm.."

He looked down at his notepad and scratched somethings out,"damn dude get ur head on right and just write a song its not that hard.."

A sigh left his lips and he tossed the note book down infront of him,leaning his head back on the tree,he closed his eyes and air played the song he was listening to,and he mouthed the words singing softly at some points.

Gomory walked over to Kaleb and tapped him on the shoulder. "Heylo!" her voice was cheerful.

Kaleb looked up and smiled,"hey gomory!"

He popped his head phones out of his ears and got up hugging her,"what brings u out here today eh?"he smiled and kissed her cheek.

He loved Gomory she always talked to hom when anything was wrong,and for once she was a gf who was nice to syn.

Gomory hugged him and kissed his cheek also. "Your brother. He's been acting weird. Any idea why?" She sat down on the ground and crossed her legs. "Oh yeah, Phoenix misses you. She probably misses pulling your hair."

"pulling my hair?,shes never done that",he sat down by her,"and syn,hes just weird foir no reason anyway,so i can't say ive noticed any change"

He knew about syns notebooks,and he knew how he felt but he wasn't just gonna out and bust him to gomory.

Gomory sighed, "I know about the notebook, I never read it. But still he use to act funny. He's promised not to keep anything from me anymore. But, I can't help but wonder."

"his note books are just for his ranting,his last gf left him for it,he can't help but lock himself inside though"

He looked over at her,"he loves u,but maybe u should let him breath about his quietness sumtimes eh?"

She smiled, "I guess your right. But it feels like he's keeping something major from me. And I want him to come to me with anything. But you're right, I need to give him space." She pouted a little bit, "Anyway, how have you been my future little brother?"

"i been good",kaleb smiled and layed his head on her shoulder,"i been just fine,what else can i ask for huh?,except maybe a bf"he laughed

"im kidding,even though it would be nice,since i moved here with syn its hard getting accepted with ya know the whole gay thing,so i act like im straight,i even have a gf,that god i can't stand.."

He sighed,"oh well i guess i can make it work till im old enough to get back to cali"

"Oh come on they're not all that bad." She put her head on his. "Just these little prissy ones that act all stuck up and shit." She laughed, "I bet you can find some bi-sexual guys atleast. I know there are some that over-run Hot Topic around here. Besides, you can't leave. Syn and I will miss you too much."

"he might be gettin signed anyway..and hes already gone all the time.."

He looked down with a sigh,"i guess i just miss him..i dun see him anymore,hes always with u or his band..i gave up askin if we could even hang out,im sick of gettin hurt cuz when it would come down to the day were supposed to go somewhere just me and him sumtin comes up.."

He shook his head"sorry for whining..guess i should get over it,hes just living his life maybe i should try livin mine"

Gomory looked at him, she knew he was hurt. "Hey don't be sad. Look here, I'll talk to him tonight when he gets home. I'll ask, no command, that he drops everything this Saturday for you and hangs out with you all day. He'll listen to me. Even if it does take convincing." She made a sarcastic look on her face like 'oh joy'.

"nah i dun wanna cause u any trouble sis"he smiled and kissed her cheek.
"thanx for being so nice to me though"a smiled crossed his face once again,"ya know gomory i think u being with syn was a good thing,hes not so angry at the world anymore"

He laughed,"that dude used to be outta it or mad,it was drugs or anger,untill he met u,so i like havin ya around,i like seeing him happy.."

She smiled, "I think you two just need a weekend where it's just well, the two of you. Oh no trouble at all to me, Syns good in bed anyway. Oops." She covered her mouth and laughed. "You really didn't need to hear that."

"he makes u do that if u want something?.."

Kaleb lifted his head and looked down,he couldn't believe his brother was like that,he looked up to syn and now he questioned him,"i just..wow..i can't believe i used to think of him as my idol.."

He shook his head,"i just can't treat people i love like that..."

Gomory shook her head, "No he doesn't make me do that." she laughed. " He would never force me to have sex with him for something. So don't think that's what I meant."

"oh..well thanx for clearing that up,i was about to be really pissed at him"

He looked at her,"ur to kool of a girl and beautiful to be doing shit like that especially for people like syn.."

He din't mean for that to come out that way so why not try and clear it up,"i mean hes a good guy and all but yeah.."

She smiled, "I know, his past. It's not as nice as alot of peoples but hey, people change. He's so diffrent around Phoenix. You wouldn't even know it's the same person."

"yeah never know it.."

Kaleb kept his head down,he sighed,he knew some stuff gomory never would even imagine about syn,and he hoped shed never have to..

Gomory frowned, "Is something wrong. You know you can tell me anything right?"

Kaleb thought for a second but he figured he had to tell her,he sighed and pulled his shirt off,bruises were down his chest and stomach,a few on his back.

"h-he did that to me..,him and his band mates when they came over drunk the other night.."

He looked down,tears in his eyes.

Gomory covered her mouth, "Oh god..." she pulled him to her. "Kaleb...why did they do it?" She didn't want Syn around Phoenix anymore...she was now scared for her, Kaleb, and Phoenix. But mostly for Kaleb and Phoenix.

His voice was soft now as he tried holding back tears,"i just..i just asked could i hang out with them.."

He burryed his head into her,tears soaking into her shirt,as he sniffled.
"i took every bit of it and smiled and played like it was ok the whole time cuz i just wanted to be with him.."
He cried harder,he never really had anyone else to get his problems out to and thats why he had learned to really love gomory.

Gomory was more angry with Syn now than she could ever be. "It's okay Kaleb you can cry.." She rubbed his back gently. She moved away from him a little bit and wiped his tears. "Come on let's go back to my house. You can play with Phoenix, how does that sound?" She didn't know what to do. She was so angry and mad she could kill Syn right now but she was hurting inside for Kaleb.

Kaleb nodded,"ok.."

He got up slowly with her,wiping his eyes,he pulled his shirt back on,"im so sorry gomory.."he looked down,he felt like he had betrayed his brother,but he felt he needed to tell her just incase he ever did that around her.

Gomory gave him a sad smile and hugged him, "Don't be sorry. You have nothing to be sorry for. This is Syns fault and those fucking morons he hangs out with, one fucking tried to lure me into bed with him and I never told Syn because I thought he would get mad and call me a liar. So don't worry. Please don't. I'm here for you, I'm your sister."

Kaleb nodded scared,what would happen now,he looked down he felt bad,he had told syn's secret and he now felt like shit for it.

"Gomory,please don't tell im i told u what he did..please..he'll never talk to me again.."tears started to form in his eyes again as he followed her.

Gomory nodded, "I wont. Don't worry." She took his hand and walked up the steps of her house and smiled as she saw Phoenix asleep on the floor. After Gomory paid the babysitter and she left she picked up Phoenix and brought her over to Kaleb. "Hey cutie, look who's here. It's uncle Kaleb." She smiled as Phoenix laughed and reached for him.

Kaleb smiled picking her up from Gomory and kissing her head,"hey there baby girl u miss me?"he laughed at her smile and laughter,she made him feel better,he loved this kid with all his heart,shes just what he needed at times like these

"mind if i rock her back to sleep Gomory i dun wanna inturrupt her nap"he smiled over at her.

[Gomory Rose]

"sure, you can rock her back to sleep. I need to go take a shower anyway. I'll bring you a washcloth for your face in a second okay?" She was still concerned for him.
