Carter wondered down the aisles of fresh produce, picking up random tomatoes and examining them. She was terribly bored and, though she didn't want to admit it, lonely. All her friends were far away from her ... at the school she wished she could still afford. Mandy's Cafe, though quaint, wasn't exactly a high-scaled waitress job. The old men that came in after church gave her lot's of tip money but, the tip money was always divided. She would have to start taking it, rent was due in about a week. Sighing she sat down on a bench a bag of vegetables she couldn't really remember paying for hanging from her wrist. Nice stuff for sushi. Her mind wondered in and out. She watched the people walking, starred hard at a couple of them, she could barely make out their aura. Yellow with a hint of green, maybe a few rays of black, troubled ... yet happy. How did that work? She wondered dimly what her aura would look like ... confused. Worried, yet content with life ... but lonely. The kids at Laurent hadn't accepted her quiet disposition and charm like her old school had ...

Damion stepped into the Grocery store,and began to jet down the isles he wanted to get his shopping done quickly for he had other things to do,like sit at home and do nothing there,that always seemed so more amussing to him though,sit on the computer,write a few journals and eventually the day was over,since he had lost Riz and Gomory nothing else really seemed intresting,that is untill he saw Carter.
"hmm.."
He smiled,it was about time someone new had come around,but Daim wasn't to big on knowing how to meet new people,so why not Bump into her.
"oh shit im so sorry.."
Picking up a few things she dropped,he gave her a smile as he set them back into her basket.

"Oh!" Carter exclaimed as Damion bumped into her, "Erm, that's alright ... was I in your way? I'm sorry ...." She said, full heartedly apologetic. She smiled at him, "You kind of look like an emo Jim Carrey ..." She laughed, "I'm sorry ... that was really random ... I hope you like him ..."

Damion smiled and laughed,he hadn't done that for a while,it felt good.
"yeah Jim C. is great,funny guy,and no u werent in my way im just clumsy.",He laughed again and looked up at her looking into her eyes,they kind of stunned him there,they were beautiful he almost got choked up on words.
"im sorry u must wonder why im starring,its just your eyes,there beautiful.."He looked down a bit before looking back up to her with a bit of a smirk.
Whatever this girl's charm had on him,it was working.

Carter blushed slightly, "Thank you ..." She said quietly, smiling at him, subconsciously pushing her hair into her eyes, "Uh .... well .... hi, I'm Carter .... nice ... umm ... bumping into you ..." She laughed.

Daim smirked,"very nice,for once im glad to be clumsy.."
He bit his bottom lip smiling at her,"the names Damion..and i was hoping we could bump into each other..a lil more offten..",letting his bottom lip go his smile remained.
Daim's eyes never left her,if he had learned anything about girls he learned they loved eye contact even when they swore to hate it,to them it ment u cared and he be damned if he let her just walk out the door.

She laughed, "Your not one for cheesy pick up lines, are you?" She joked sarcastically, "But, for the record ... your probably the second nice face I've seen in awhile ... I'm going to a new school and it's been-" She sighed, "hard ... I guess ..."

He laughed,"nah im not but i always wanted to try one,did it work?",he laughed again before getting around to her school comment,"well my school kinda sucks to,its nice on the inside and all and its nicely decorated,its just theres so many cliques,and most arn't accepting of anyone ya know?,it gets sickining,I go to Laurent,whats your school?"
Looking at her he noticed she liked wrapping her arms around herself alot,"whatever the place is i hope it treats u a lil better than your past has..i just see u like to wrap around yourself,uve done it alot,i might be wrong but i know when aot of things were going wrong for me i kept a security blanket around myself by wrapping around myself hoping no one would try and come in and if they did id stop them quickly.."
He looked at her with a sencear look in his eyes.

Carter eyed him carefully, "I never noticed before ..." She said shrugging, about to cross her arms ... but thinking better of it, kept them to her sides and put her thumbs in her front pockets of her jeans, "Laurent? Yeah, that's my new school ..." She laughed, "Small world, right?" Smiling, "What grade are you in?"

"im a Senior,i can't wait to get out of there,this years going slow as hell,and your grade?"
He smiled,looking over her body,he must admitt she was cute and very intresting she wasn't like the other idiotic girls around,he liked her personality,now only if he could make her have the same intrest in him.

"I'm a sophomore. Though, I have enough credits to be a senior ..." She smiled, starring at him hard .... she blinked and his aura came into view ... troubled, messed up .... mostly black with a few hints of lighter colors ... there was a lot of red too ... passionate, dark ... and caring. Carter couldn't help but act surprised, "You carry-" She started ... and then stopped, she bit her bottom lip, " A lot of sorrow and hate ..." She finished in a slight whisper, "I'm sorry .... that probably sounded really fucked up ..." She laughed, returning to her happy disposition, "I can sense things about people ... that's all ... and your ... aura ... took me by surprise."

"ive been going thru alot lately,what can i say,im a very deep person..",he smirked,he din't notice how close they were togther untill looking down at her,he backed away a bit his smirk never left his face.
"and u must carry alotta joy around with u,ur very,hmmm,bouncy."he laughed,"so anyway,why are ya in here all alone,dun u have friends,i mean a person like u has to have someone."
He starred back at her,looking into her eyes trying to read her,she was a happy person but there seemed to be a little pain there too.

"I don't mind being alone ..." She said casually, shrugging the question away, "It gives me time to sit and day dream ..." She sighed a happy little sigh, "But ... I do miss my old school sometimes ... even though it was private, it was cool. Everyone was .... really cool with each other. We were all a family." Her eyes went out of focus slightly as she thought about it ... she slowly trailed back to Damion and smiled, "You're really cool, Damion .... I'm glad you ran into me ..."

He went red,he did bump into her on purpose so hey why not atleast tell her,he found himself really finding intrest in her,he liked her,she was cool,and she wasn't normal,that sounded alot like himself and maybe thats why he found so much intrest in her.

Syn walked in the Grocery store ina bit of a rush,he walked right passed the two not wanting any conversation from Damion,he din't notice that it was carter he was talking to,right now he din't care,he wanted in and out especially with Damion around.
